Alex Berg is a multimedia journalist specializing in national news, LGBTQ issues and social justice topics.

Alex is an out bisexual and queer video producer and on-air talent at The Huffington Post. She produces and hosts videos on national news, LGBTQ issues and social justice topics. Most recently, she hosted HuffPost's live coverage from the campaign trail and created the bi-weekly series #QueerTheVote, which examined the election through an LGBTQ lens. Outside of HuffPost, Alex is currently producing a feature length documentary on transgender representation in the media directed by Sam Feder.

In August of 2015, Alex produced a seven-part series for HuffPost Live on campus sexual assault, which featured President Obama's Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett and former Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano. In 2014, her coverage of the Bisexual White House Summit was nominated for a GLAAD Media Award.

Previously, Alex shot and produced short documentaries on the 2012 campaign trail and covered politics and entertainment for Beast TV at The Daily Beast. She has been featured on 'The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore,' and her work has additionally appeared in the New York Times and the Washington Post.

In her free time, Alex plays roller derby with the Gotham Girls and facilitates writing workshops at Girls Write Now.

Commentary & Speaking

Alex Berg is available to provide LGBTQ and social justice commentary on TV and in print. She can also moderate panels, speaking engagements and conduct workshops at high schools, universities and businesses. 

Alex has moderated and emceed events for Deutsche Bank, LGBT Marketing Advertising & Technology Week and at the Brooklyn Museum.
